Booking Terms

The conditions for renting and paying for villas in Italy can be called standard since they require a prepayment to confirm the reservation of the villa and a settlement several days before arrival. However, there are some peculiarities that have been established and are applied by default by the villa owners.

Minimum rental period

Unlike in Asia, where you can rent a villa for a period of two nights, in Italy, villas are offered for at least one week and the rental period lasts strictly from Saturday to Saturday. You can agree on a shorter rental period during a low season only.

Prepayment

The standard amount of prepayment will be 50% of the total rental cost if you book more than 1 month in advance. If it is less than one month before the arrival date, 100% of the rental cost is prepaid.

Refundable security deposit

The deposit amount is set by the villa owner and usually equals to 10-20% of the rental cost or the cost of one night in the villa. The deposit is paid separately upon arrival at the villa.

Services at the villa

Services at the villa make a significant difference in villa rental conditions in Italy, they are either included in the rental cost or paid for additionally and mandatorily. Cleaning at the end of the guests’ stay, electricity and water consumed are among such services.

Rent payment

Payment is made by bank transfer to the company’s account or to a representative in Moscow when signing the documents.
